Lead Organizer
Nir Chemaya
Lead Organizer
Nir Chemaya is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Economics at UC Santa Barbara (UCSB). His research interests include macroeconomics, blockchain, decentralized finance (Defi), and experimental and behavioral economics.
Before UCSB Santa Barbara, Nir received a BA and MA in Economics from Ben Gurion University.
Dingyue "Kite" Liu

Kite Liu is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Economics at UC Santa Barbara. His research interests include Behavioral Economics, Decentralized Finance, Labor Economics, and Economics of Education.
Prior to UC Santa Barbara, Kite graduated from Purdue University.

Amy Cao
Co-organizer
Amy Cao currently attends Ridge High School, and she is interested in behavioral, international, and financial economics. She hopes to apply these fields to decentralized finance and blockchain research.
Jonas Chen
Co-organizer
Jonas Chen is broadly interested in economics, security, and applications as it relates to blockchain and web3. He is currently an undergraduate student and researcher at UC Santa Barbara.

Elia Ching
Alumni
Elia Ching is a student at Foothill Community College, where he focuses on economics and public policy.
Elia is also interested in research, having worked with faculty at Dartmouth, Carleton, UConn, and more. In addition, he is currently coaching speech and debate at local private schools.
Eric Liu
Alumni
Eric Liu is currently a student at UC Santa Barbara, where he majors in applied mathematics and data science. Eric is interested in blockchain and decentralized finance and hopes to apply math and data science to these emerging fields.
